Our staff recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

 

Jeremy comes to Christ Lutheran of Bethesda after serving for 3 years at Luther Place Memorial Church in Washington, DC, and 14 years at Bridge of Peace in Camden, NJ. Inviting good music into worship space is important to Jeremy, and is a calling he takes seriously. He is well versed in Gospel, Soul, Afro-Cuban, and Classical schools of music; and he’s just as happy playing a Bach fugue as he is playing the African spirituals. To that effect, look for music at Christ Lutheran to be a reflection of diverse cultural and artistic backgrounds, and to expand the boundaries of meaningful and vibrant worship. When Jeremy is not playing or rehearsing with a band, choir or other ensemble, he enjoys cooking and reading.
