Faith Formation Children Ministry

Faith Formation for Children is CELC’s Sunday school ministry for young children. From 11:00 to 12:00 p.m. each Sunday during the school year, children ages
3-Elementary School, learn a Bible story and focus on one key lesson that they can apply to their lives. Parents receive activities designed to reinforce the lesson and help them lead faith conversations with their families throughout the week.
Faith Formation kids also participate in a variety of outreach, connecting, growing, ministry and worship activities, and they are fully integrated into the life of the church. For more information about Pathfinders, please contact the church at

Parents are the most powerful influences on their children’s faith growth. Recognizing this, CELC is building a comprehensive ministry to develop parents as disciples of Jesus Christ and equip them to be their children’s primary faith teachers and mentors.

A variety of small group Bible studies provide wonderful opportunities for God
to speak to parents in prayer and Scripture, nourish and nurture them in their individual faith walks, and equip them to raise children who know, love and
serve the Lord.

A collection of books, DVDs, videos and other parenting resources are available in the Family Ministry office. Please stop by to browse the resources. You may borrow them as well – please just remember to sign out the materials! Please also check out the Resources for Parents bulletin board outside the office.
