How Do I Meet People?

Our church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members and people in action. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at this church.

Small Groups

Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, our church has small Bible studies held in member homes. The size of the group is anywhere from six to twelve people. At a time designated by your group leader you can participate in the small group study.
We have a Sunday 10:15 Small Group called Challenging Lifestyles, which explores the relevance of God’s Word to today’s current events and issues.

Children’s Ministry

Each Sunday morning at 10:15 am, children get to participate in a class we call Faith Formation. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn.  Crafts are a tangible reminder of God’s love, especially for young children.  The Faith Formation class in our church is recognized for their meaningful interaction with kids.

Women's Groups

Women's groups give the ladies in our church family special times of interaction. Our women's groups, meeting at the church and in several locations throughout our community, are times of Bible study, prayer (and, of course, food). These groups provide a refreshing discipleship opportunity for the women in the church. We have two Women’s Circle groups, Rachel Circle and Martha Circle, which meet on the 2nd and 3rd Tuesdays of every month, and we have THRIVE Women’s Bible Group, which discusses Biblical topics on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of every month, either at the church or in someone’s home.

Men's Ministry

We are looking for men to form a new Men’s Ministry Group, to study the word and find fellowship together.  We used to have a group called Master Builders Men’s Ministry which met on Saturday mornings, and we would like to start that up again soon.

Married Couples

Even though marriage is one of the most important institutions, it is the one which is under the most attack–internally and externally. The church gives married couples the opportunity to do some very effective pre-marital counseling with our pastor.
